The SlumpScan sensor is sold as part of an early-adopter beta program. The hardware and software are still in active development. By purchasing, you acknowledge the product is pre-release and may change, and that features, accuracy, and availability are not guaranteed.
The beta hardware price of $500 is an early-adopter estimate and is subject to significant change. The price shown at checkout is the price for your hardware order.
Usage is billed in addition to the hardware. Your first 40 active days are included; after that, usage is billed at $5.00 per active day, charged automatically each month to the card on file for the prior month’s usage. An “active day” is any calendar day (U.S. Central Time) on which your sensor records at least one reading — multiple readings on the same day count as a single active day. Usage pricing is also estimated and may change during the beta.
Full-release (production) pricing is not yet finalized and may differ significantly from beta pricing.
During the beta, SlumpScan LLC provides unlimited replacements of a defective beta sensor at no hardware cost, handled directly with the founder. This covers the device itself; it does not cover loss, theft, or intentional damage.
The beta sensor is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. SlumpScan LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from beta use. Readings are decision-support and do not replace professional judgment or required testing.
Shipping within the United States is included in the purchase price. We collect your shipping address to send the unit; see our Privacy Policy.
Because beta units are limited, returns are handled case-by-case with the founder. If you are unhappy, contact us and we will make it right.
